VIP Participation Levels

A portion of the proceeds from the program support the educational pursuits of Virginia’s aspiring college students through the VSGA-VIP Scholarship Foundation.

The VSGA VIP Card Program is a great way to get great discounts at Virginia and West Virginia courses, and it’s also a great way to support golf through the VSGA-VIP Scholarship Foundation. NOTE: VIP cardholders enjoy great discounts, but please note, golfers must pay a cart fee, which is $26 from January-March as well as October-December and $29 from April-September, when playing at participating courses. Cart fees vary by course.

VSGA VIP Card Program Levels and Cost Per Year

Student: $33
Golfers age 22 and under receive all of the benefits of those at the Supporter Level (under age 17 must be accompanied by an adult when using the card). Additional restrictions may apply with regard to renting or operating motorized carts.

Supporter: $65 , Supporter Couple: $115
Golfers at the Supporter and Supporter Couple levels will receive:

  • A 2012 VIP Card entitling you to complimentary green fees at more than 210 courses in Virginia and West Virginia
  • A 2012 bag tag
  • A 2012 VSGA Member Club Directory supplement (for all cards that were ordered by Feb. 1, 2012)
  • An bimonthly subscription to Virginia Golfer magazine
  • A free monthly VSGA e-newsletter with additional listings and special offers

Sponsor: $150, Sponsor Couple: $195
Sponsors and Sponsor Couples receive all Supporter Level amenities, plus the following:

  • “Tee for Two” certificates at The Homestead’s Old Course as well as the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club’s Green Course. The level includes a complimentary green fee with the rental of a motorized cart. The offer is good for 2012 from Monday-Thursday, except holidays.
  • A special gift

* – There is an additional charge of $32 per golfer for an annual VSGA/USGA Handicap Index

Gold Level: $500
Gold Level participants receive all Sponsor amenities, plus:

  • A total of three transferable 2012 VIP Guest Cards, which are ideal for entertaining friends and clients. (NOTE: The Gold Level cardholder must play with his or her guests.)
  • The Homestead’s “Best in Virginia” certificate on the Cascades Course
  • The Golden Horseshoe’s “Go For The Gold” certificate on the Gold Course, which includes one complimentary green fee with the rental of a motorized cart (good throughout 2012, Monday-Thursday, except holidays)
  • A complimentary invitation to the VSGA Annual Meeting and VSGA Day, where the 2012 scholarship award winners will be recognized.

* – There is an additional charge of $32 per golfer for an annual VSGA/USGA Handicap Index

Supporting Member: $97
Includes a Supporter VIP Card and a membership in a VSGA eClub. Supporting members will receive all VSGA member benefits, including a VSGA/USGA Handicap Index, which will be valid until Dec. 31, 2012.

As a Supporting Member, golfers will have the opportunity to post scores online and play in nearly 100 VSGA One-Day events conducted throughout the year. 

SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION DONOR
The VSGA-VIP Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides grants and gifts for scholarships, scientific and educational research, and other charitable purposes. Donations are welcome. To contribute to the scholarship fund, please use the VIP Card order form.
