VIP Card Program Sign-Up -- $30 for ages 22-and-under

Initiative provides a forum for the youths of Virginia to play, learn the Rules of Golf and etiquette and develop a love of the game.

MIDLOTHIAN –– After a s uccessful second season in 2009 in which nearly 300 junior golfers took part in the program, the VSGA Junior Golf Club is again set to provide a forum for youths of Virginia to play, learn etiquette and the Rules of Golf and provide an opportunity to develop a love for the game for the remainder of their lives.

Mission of the VSGA Junior Golf Club
The mission of the VSGA Junior Golf Club is to provide boys and girls 18-and-under with an opportunity to play golf in a friendly environment while promoting camaraderie, fair play and sportsmanship.

(1) Encourage juniors of all skill levels (beginner, novice, intermediate and advanced) to gain an appreciation for the game, its traditions, ideals and rules. Golf clubs are required.

(2) Create competitive opportunities for advanced junior golfers.

(3) Have fun!

VSGA Junior Golf Club Member Benefits
The VSGA Junior Golf Club annual membership fee of $30* includes the following:

·        An official VSGA/USGA Handicap Index.
·        VSGA Junior Golf Club member gift.
·        VSGA Junior Golf Club bag tag.

·        USGA Golf Rules In Brief.

· Opportunities for Richmond, Williamsburg/Northern Neck, Charlottesville and Hampton Roads area boys and girls to play in:

- Approximately 23 junior events (18 holes in the Richmond, Williamsburg/Northern Neck, Charlottesville and Hampton Roads areas) open to boys and girls, 12-18 years of age.

- Approximately 28 youth or developmental events (nine holes in the Richmond, Williamsburg/Northern Neck, Charlottesville and Hampton Roads areas) open to boys and girls, ages 13-and-under.

- VSGA championships (if other eligibility criteria is met).

- VSGA One-Day events (if playing with an adult).

VSGA Junior Golf Club Membership Packets

A VSGA Junior Golf Club member packet will be e-mailed upon the receipt of a properly-executed application, inclduing the $30 annual membership fee. The VSGA Junior Golf Club annual membership fee is non-refundable. A schedule of events and an entry form will be included with the VSGA Junior Golf Club membership packet.

An additional member gift, as well as a bag tag and a Golf Rules In Brief, will be distributed at the first event in which each junior participates.
