The VSGA is licensed by the United States Golf Association to install USGA course and slope ratings. Regional rating teams rate courses for men and women statewide. A service offered free to member clubs, teams will routinely visit and evaluate courses, according to the USGA system. Furthermore, free tee-to-green laser measuring service is offered in conjunction with a rating visit to a member club. Also, sprinkler head measurement is available, while VSGA yardage markers can be used to record measurement positions. |
